H. Krull & C. was founded in 1869 by Hermann Krull Sr., a very young German
merchant from Prussia, who, after spending a period of time in Savona and also in Venice, chose Treviso as a sultable place for the processing of precious
materials (pearls and bristles) that he was importing from the Orient.
This is how one of the very first industrial activities was born in a territory that
until then had been agricultural and that today is one of the provinces with Italy's
highest concentration of business activity.
Hermann Krull had six sons, all born in Venice, and because of misunderstanding in history, he had in 1919 the thankless
task of renegotiating the purchase of the factory that his family, being
German, had expropriated from them during the first World War.
Hermann Krull died in 1936, and, as if caught in a historical circle, shortly
thereafter his children found themselves in a familiar situation: at the end of the
second World War, as confirmation of a sincere industrial commitment, the family
had to repurchase the plant once again.
In the last fifty year, the company has rebuilt and strenghtened the ACCA KAPPA trademark, and, starting from a core business made up of objects for the care of
the body, it has gradually widened the range of products that it offers.
Today ACCA KAPPA is positioned in the upper segment of the market and is synonymous with a product that is trustworthy, consistent, and valued both for
its material and for its aesthetic qualities.
